I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again — I really need to browse Youtube more often. I miss out of the leading edge of so many memes by not checking more things out.
An Australian friend pointed me towards the video for “Sort of Dunno Nothin”, a song by Australian singer/songwriter Peter Denahy.
The teenager in the video is played by 17-year-old Travis Kesek of Newcastle. I’ve seen other posts refer to his portrayal as sullen or surly but that’s not really how he comes across. Needs more sneer, more absolute conviction that everyone else is a complete idiot, to really pull that off.
